World Aid Network, founded by Kaiser Khan, funds sight-restoring surgery, cancer care and disaster relief. He is Director of World Animal Rescue Network, which funds partner-led animal rescue and publishes guides covering 17 countries. Earlier work includes four Disasters Emergency Committee appeals. The published four-appeal total is £169 million.

Drought and conflict left 23 million people across Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan in urgent need of food, water and medical treatment.

Violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State drove more than half a million Rohingya people across the border into Bangladesh.
2018 · £29.6 million raised
A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck Sulawesi on 28 September 2018, triggering a tsunami of up to three metres. At least 4,340 people died.
2019 · £43 million raised
Cyclone Idai swept through Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe in March 2019, affecting more than three million people.
